The St. Helena Planning Commission will review a proposed ordinance
regulating marijuana dispensaries at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 6 at Vintage
Hall.
In January city staff proposed that the city council place a moratorium
on marijuana dispensaries, which are not regulated currently by the
city's zoning ordinance. Instead the council directed staff to draft
an ordinance regulating where marijuana dispensaries may be established
and how they will be regulated.
After being reviewed by the planning commission, the ordinance will
proceed to the city council for public hearings.
